What is\u00a0Ecognosis<\/em>?<\/h3>\n\n

The word\u00a0ecognosis<\/em>\u00a0is a neologism, from the prefix\u00a0eco-<\/em>\u00a0(from the Greek\u00a0oikos<\/em>, house, home, from which is derived both economics and ecology), and\u00a0gnosis<\/em>\u00a0spiritual knowledge\u00a0(from\u00a0gignosko<\/em>\u00a0– know). Ecognosis therefore is higher knowledge about our home – both our human social surroundings and the natural environment which is the home we share with all other life on this planet. More than that, this home includes not just the Earth, but also the solar system, the galaxy, even the entire universe, for we are truely\u00a0Cosmopolitan<\/em>\u00a0– Citizens of the Cosmos<\/p>\n\n
