Seven auras are referred to by the American psychic artist Joseph Ostrom in his book You and Your Aura (Aquarian Press, 1987), who reverts to the standard Adyar-Theosophical placement of the Mental above the Astral, but also distinguishes between three physical, two psychic, and two spiritual auras, the latter being located separate from and above the other five.

 Very obvious here is the difference that individual perception makes.  Whereas other clairvoyants have only one etheric or health layer, Mr Ostrom refers to three.  On the other hand, his two spiritual auric layers are obviously distinct from the spiritual auras refreed to by other clairvoyants, because they are located above the body rather than around it.  They would correspond to the "Higher Self" or "Most High Soul", and presumably pertain to the Subtle or Very Subtle Worlds.
