To say that a guru is nonabusive does not mean they are enlightened, still less a sadguru. They may still be ignorant or unenlightened or as deluded as anyone else. But it just means that they have certain principles and decency and have not abused the position of trust that others have placed in them. This itself speaks very highly of them, and indeed even the most ignorant person may be light years ahead of the most fancy and worshhipped guru or fale avatar, if the latter is behaving in an abusive manner, but the former does not.
So nonabusive simply means on the moral compass a position of neutrality or of selflessness. It means that that person is probably a good and intrinsically spoiritual person. But non-absuive alone doies not equal true guru
However the reverse is not the case. Every sadguru and genuine guru by their very nature has to be nonabusive. If there is any abuse at all, any manipulation or taking adavantage of deveotees, if there is even the slightest trace of self-serving, even the most minute, and even if the guru is nonabusive in every way towards their devotees, but there is even the tiniest defensiveness and hostility and agressiveness towards critics, then that is proof that they are not a sadguru, not an authe ntically and integrally enlightened being.
