In the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and more especially the Mother, "emanation" (noun) refers not to the cosmological process of emanation, but to beings of the non-physical worlds, which can send off innumerable emations or duplicate sof themselves. Each emanation has an individual life, and can in turn generate further emanations.
