Planes of Existence

Corresponding to the individual principles of body, soul, and spirit, are the macrocosmic levels of physical world, etheric world, astral plane or soul world, and Devachan (a Theosophical  term, taken from the Sanskrit) or Spiritual world, sometimes divided into higher and lower.  These worlds or planes can also be compared more with the later (Lurianic) Kabbalistic ideas about the worlds of Asiyah, Yetzirah, and Beriah than with the Theosophical seven-plane cosmology.
