The Causal Body - Absolute Type

Christopher Hills identifies this faculty with the colour black.   It could be associated with Barbara Ann Brennan's seventh energy-field body ("Ketheric template"), except that the latter is gold in colour.  The equivalent Jungian type would be the extreme Intuition type, whether introvertive or extrovertive.

Concerning the personality type dominated by this faculty Christopher Hills gives the following insghtful summary

Absolute type:

Cannot compromise with uncertainty and hazard in the universe without self-surrender to Cosmic Intelligence and entering an immortal state of being.  The annihilation of the "real external world" occurs when the individual ego unites with the self-consciousness behind all of the manifested creation and notions of bodily objects. This type has a desire to bring order out of chaos by the "willing" of eternal events in time -  the function of prayer. The drive of self-annihilation creates a stubbornness and desire for absolute freedom to be a law unto oneself.  Self mastery involves coping with this sacred desire to play God at the heart of all being.   Unyielding, certain. overconfident, hard of heart, spiritually ruthless, self-defeating and on rare occasions completely broken in "will" and lost in the dark night of the soul. Must surrender to ultimate self or becomes destructive instead of creative. Is often grateful for small recognitions and does not expect rewards.  Will serve only what he feels in a universal or cosmic will.   Messianic pretensions must be coped with for psychic health as they are driving forces in the secret desires of many more men than is believed.

Corresponding Chakra - Sahasrara

Christopher Hills does not associate this faculty with a chakra, seeing it as representing the nuclear centre of the being.  I would however equate it with one expression the Sahasrara chakra above the head (not to be confused with the lower Sahasrara or Nirvana chakra.

Corresponding astrological planets and signs

The logical planet to match up here would be Pluto, which rules Scorpio, hence the colour black and the obsessive quality associated here.

Corresponding kabbalistic sefirah

In the case of the Golden Dawn Hermetic Kabbalah (Qabalah) the black colour and spiritual qualities would seem to relate this faculty to the transpersonal chakra Binah.  In traditional Judaic Kabbalah and especially the Hassidic Kabbalah of the Chabad movement, the corresponding sefirah might be Keter (Crown), representing the unkowable Absolute.
