Metamorphosis

Matamorphosis is more than just transformation.  It is the transmutation from one state of being to another.  A coming into being of something new.  The archetypal paradigm in the nature kingdom is the caterpillar that becomes a butterfly, but there are many other such examples.  In Egyptian mythology the scarab beetle is chosen instead of the butterfly, but the basic idea is the same.

Web SiteMetamorphosis - Who Knows What Lurks in the Inner Lives of Men?

"In 1993, a group of men came together to create a book that revealed the inner lives of men -- Metamorphosis:Transformation in Action. The men featured within these pages represent a cross-section of "ordinary" men --  engineers, carpenters, teachers, laborers, executives, ministers -- sharing experiences that are often extraordinary, and always authentic. Authors of other books describe how men think and feel; this book is men thinking and feeling. The contributors to this book have reached deep inside, to a place we all share....

This WWW site offers a sample of what's in Metamorphosis. It will be updated on a periodic basis, presenting an ever-changing cross-section of the book's contents..".
