The above shows the relation between the different aspects of Reality. I originally (when I posted this page in 1 August 2009) had the ineffable Real at the top, represented by a simple minimalist circle. But (writing this in 4 October) it occured to me that that is the nonduality worldview preferred by Perennialism and secular Integralism, but not necessarily by others such as Sri Aurobindo who states that the ultimate reality is Light, not a darkness, and that the via negatia of negative theology is only a mental attempt at grasping the Infinite (This is in The Life Divine, I don't recall the page ref unfortunately). Therefore I have replaced it with a yellow or golden sun circle, representing the Supramental as the Supreme creative manifesting power on Earth at present (it may be that previous cultures like the Egyptians had tuned in to this symbolism).
Through emanation/involution (left), the Supreme generates the world of evolution and becoming (bottom). Through Integral Yoga, here the triple process of gnosis leading to Self-Realization, empathy leading to God-Realization, and physical transformation leading to Form-Realization (the three middle icons), there comes about the Integral Transformation or Metamorphosis (Individual Divinization), which leads to Cosmic Divinization (right).
This revision of my metaphysical theories is informed by deepening insight, sentientist awareness, rejection of the literalist approach to esotericism, and the realization - via T.R.Thulasiram's work, appreciation to Rick Lipschutz for pointing me in this direction!) that the Tamil Siddhis Tirumular and Ramalinga form part of the same Integral/Supramental tradition as Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Which completely revolutionises my understanding of what the Integral Approach means, and renders redundant a lot of my old ideas. At the same time, all the previous useful esoteric material has been retained. Nothing is discarded, but rather things are taken to a higher octave or turn of the spiral, and transformed in that way. I am also writing a book, called the Integral Paradigm, which presents my current insights, as well as the synthesis of my metaphysical ideas up till now.
I also had the idea of restoring the earlier sections of my site, so as a result there are now these three versions - the present one and two previous iterations - of my metaphysics. I call the present version Gnostic Metaphysics because I now approach metaphysics from a more strongly intuitive and gnostic perspective than before, there is less middle mentalising to create useless intellectual dogmas.
