For those interested in looking into the C-E-D (Creationism-Evolution-Design) debate; there are several sites/forums/groups out there on the 'net for discussion. Here are some for starters:
http://www.talkorigins.org/ - (MAK note) pro-evolution, answers all the Creationist and ID challengess to DarwinismDo a search under Yahoo groups for the "creation vs. evolution" category as found under http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/Religion___Beliefs/Creation_vs._Evolution.
Here's one that espouses Creationism but has since been terminated
by the author as he started a blog.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CreationEvolutionDesign/
You can read back through the posts if you're so inclined to find
sometimes interesting posts or to get a feel for how the debate goes.
There is a small spin-off group from the one above but it is not very active and the moderator and some of the members are not interested in talking religion vs. evolution or even anything that seems to be "New Age" (some of them think the Kheper site is on the New Age side, perhaps because they don't understand Esotericism and deeper studies of thought along the lines of Theosophy etc)
Here's one dedicated to debunking Creationism:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DebunkCreation/ and is quite active.
Be prepared for attacks, obscenities and all sorts of "anything
goes" viewpoints in this forum. It's not for the
religious/evangelists even though there are those (mostly YECs
and/or IDists) there who preach and quote bible passages as they
believe wholeheartedly it's their right to proselytize and
evangelize wherever and whenever they can. Much like many of the
Yahoo Message Boards. Watch out for articles that come out to do
with the CED debate. They flood the boards with biblical passages.
There is no talking reason or sense to those kinds of people in my
experience/opinion.
